UK’s fittest teen is heading to Madison

paleo-logoCrossFit Rotherham athlete Murtaza Nadeem qualified for July’s CrossFit Games with a fourth place worldwide in the Online Qualifier. Nadeem secured his trip to the games with finishes inside the top fifteen in each of the workouts. His best finish in the Online Qualifier was a fifth place in the chipper in the first workout, completing 279 reps, behind Angelo DiCicco’s 18’06” winning time.

Nadeem finished second in the Open in March to secure a place in the Online Qualifier. Against the rest of the world, took first place in workout 1, the snatches and box jump overs, in 12’22”.

Nadeem heads to Madison with a good season behind him, and with hope for a little bit of luck it would be great to see him get on or close to the podium. His four top fifteen placings suggest the guy is the type of rounded athlete to deliver at the Games.
